Introduction
Hayashi, Doi & Associates was founded in 1992 as the first Patent Law Firm in Shin-Yokohama area in Yokohama, Japan and has been growing with many Japanese and foreign companies that develop communication technology, information processing technology, and electronic devices technology located around. We are now involved in many companies’ intellectual property affairs from all over the country.
One of the characteristics of the office is that most of the staff members have worked in the IP Department of various companies and gained rich experiences in incubation of IP, prosecution, licensing, litigation and so forth. Also, we have practical experience in international matter as many members have a career as resident officer in countries such as the U.S. and the U.K. Our specialty of technological field mainly consists of electronic, information, and communication technology, and covers automotive, machinery, and chemistry-related matters as well.
Our mission is to bring out the best of those experiences to make proper and persistent contribution to each client as its partner, by responding to its strategy towards IP. In order to do so, all of the office staff never stops to take our utmost effort to keep up with the rapid changes in both domestic and international IP Systems, besides having the Patent Attorney license as the very basic premise.
